Assundry Useful &/or Local Links
http://www.brettunsvillage.com/leather/ - great source of leather and other
findings.

http://www.tijaye.com/  -a really good photographer who does everything from
weddings to headshots. I love his work, especially for photos that look candid,
but really aren't. Not every photographer can do that.

www.hanancrafts.com- talented woodworker and carpenter.  I love his boxes,
and have used him to make custom frames for pieces.

http://www.rivermillvillage.com/satinsax.html - Saturdays in Saxapahaw is our
local farmers and crafts market that is open from the first Saturday in May to
the last Saturday in August, and one Saturday in October for Oktoberfest. Free
kids games, great food, and amazing bands every week.  Well worth the trip out
to our little community.

http://www.benjaminvineyards.com/ - Benjamin Vineyards, our local vineyard.
Great wines and nice location for holding an outdoor event.  They have lots of
parking, room for tents, and a shaded porch. What more could you ask for?

http://www.hawriver.org/ - Local non-profit which holds educational events and
works to keep the haw river clean and healthy.

http://www.hawrivercanoe.com/- Local canoe and kayak company that offers
rides down the haw river.  Neat people, lovely river. Love their moonlight ride.

http://saxapahawgeneralstore.blogspot.com/ - Saxapahaw's General Store that is
so much more.  Great food, source for local produce and goods, and you should
try their pizza... sigh. I sell my feed sack totes and bottle cozys through them.

http://www.barnstarvintage.com/- Local company that salvages building suplies
from old homes, barns and business for reuse.  Great place to find that vintage
footed bathtub or great mantle piece.
